Hi, I’m Taryn Treloar Perkins—a licensed Life and Accident & Sickness Insurance Agent based in Victoria, BC. I offer free, heart-centred insurance reviews to help individuals and families feel confident, prepared, and protected—without pressure, jargon, or sales tactics.

 

Before entering the insurance world, I spent over 20 years working in education, supporting students, parents, teachers, and school staff. That experience shaped my approach: lead with compassion, communicate clearly, and always listen first. Today, I bring those same values into every client conversation.

 

I currently work part-time as an administrative assistant with the Sooke School District, which keeps me closely connected to the school community and attuned to the real-world needs of educators and support staff.

 

I work closely with my husband and mentor, Joel Perkins—a financial advisor and life-licensed expert with nearly 20 years of experience in wealth management. Together, we offer a team-based approach that brings both heart and expertise to the table, helping you explore the best insurance and financial options for your life stage and goals.

 

Whether we’re identifying coverage gaps, reducing unnecessary costs, or simply offering peace of mind, our mission is to make the process feel comfortable, clear, and empowering.

 

I especially love working with families, educators, school support staff, and single moms—people juggling a lot who appreciate guidance they can trust.

 

Outside of work, I’m a proud baseball mom and board member of the Greater Victoria Baseball Association. I spend much of my free time volunteering with the Victoria Seawolves, helping to create a positive, encouraging environment for young athletes to grow and thrive.

 

My husband Joel, our 13-year-old son Declan, our terrier Lucy, and I call Langford home—and I couldn’t be more grateful to serve the community I live in and love.
